Update

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

First off, I re-did the homepage and menu. I decided on an apocalyptic theme to keep it consistent with “10 Tales of Origins and Extinctions.” I’m trying to keep the site vertical to subconsciously make it more bookish. The power of suggestion can be quite potent. I also erased my sorry visage from the pages. It gives a sense of mystery to this Hamish Dee character, a mystique, if you will.

Presently, I’m working on the Earthenware expansion. I’m fleshing out the pages, altering those I don’t like and adding more options. I’ve been doing it since January, more off than on, and I’ve already tripled the size. When it’s book length, I’ll stop. It will never get transeferred to the site though. The web version is basically a teaser for the book.

Finally, I’ll be giving a public reading in partnership with the White Mountain Writer’s Workshop. It will be at The Greenhouse in Show Low, AZ, April 14th, 7:00PM. Not sure what I’m reading yet. I won’t do any signings, but I’ll do improvised Haikus for $20 each.

Japan Pics

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

Hi all!

I’m fresh from my second tour of duty in Korea. I was downright neglectful whilst in the country, and haven’t added any photos to the Korean photobook. However, I took 2 1/2 weeks in Japan to tour the Kensai region of Japan, and have addded a Japanese photobook for your veiwing pleasure. Nearly all of the photos were taken in Kyoto. Once I got there, it was so nice that I felt little inclination to leave. Still, there are some photos from Osaka and Nara, too.

Until the next,
