Sightseeing Sofa Update

Monday, July 21st, 2008

After announcing my involvement in Sightseeing Sofa, a number of people mentioned that they couldn’t access the English version. This has recently been resolved and the Sightseeing Sofa is now fully bilingual (English/Dutch).

My associates Jeannette and Ronald are currently in Mexico assembling the website and starting their adventure, while I continue assisting with the translation.

So, have another look: www.sightseeingsofa.com

Impressions of Europe

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

I’ve recently returned from a stint in Europe. I spent one month in Italy, minus a day and a half in Switzerland. The trip was made for a short-term teaching job, but I found some time on weekends and after school to see a few sights. I put everything in Euro Pics 2.

If you’re curious about what I’m writing now, let me put your mind at rest. Nothing. The ideas are out there, I’m sure. Like scraps from a shipwreck, they’re floating on the surface, waiting to be tossed onto paper shores. I just hope not too many dead bodies come with it.

Pleasant Dreams

The Indian Photobook

Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Though I haven’t quite left the country yet, I’m mired in the daily life of rural Tamil Nadu and probably won’t find the opportunity to photograph it. So let’s not waste any time, I posted the India photos. Most of it is from travel I did in April, and February.

They’re fun and, along with my older photos, give a good indication of how the aging process is coming along.
