I’ve started revamping the website, and the Halfway House was the first to feel the change. I removed any content no longer deemed suitable, and added two new stories. The first showed up on the blog several months back, Death vs. Deep Blue. The other is brand, spanking new and can be accessed by clicking “Eradication” in the Halfway House menu.

Dear Sirs and Madams,
I’ve taken my self promotion a bit more seriously, and added a pair of photo albums to my Facebook page. They include some photos of me not included on the website, and some old homepages no longer included on the website.
Otherwise, I’m on an authorial hiatus. I’ll tweek with the website within the next couple months. I may start a fifth book in March, inspiration notwithstanding. The fourth, Cavernous, is still an orphan, and needs a loving home.

Hello. I am Hamish. That still sounds alright.
I just wanted announce that I’ve completed part one of the new book, Cavernous (Title Likely To Be Changed). In fact, um…since I forgot my password and couldn’t get into this blog for a few weeks, I’ve already completed a short break and written a significant portion of part two. Let’s say, 20%. Part three, maybe I’ve mentioned it, is finished already.
The story behind the book has been interesting. Currently, I’m writing from the 9th floor of the YMCA in Perth. It’s nice enough, despite the puke stain on the stairwell.
Well, anyway, what does this mean to you, the web traffic? Nothing immediately. I just wanted to reassure you, vis-a-vis myself, that I haven’t packed it in, or gotten a job. Just don’t be surprised if I redesign the website and toss up a few sample chapters, later on this year.

 For my own part, I’m in Australia writing my fourth unpublished book. It’s a three parter, and I’ve completed part 3. Only parts 1 and 2 remain. In any case, an Aussie photobook should be up around Christmas time.

The Euro and Turkish photobooks are forth coming. Just give me a few weeks…5 or 6. I’m having access issues. Anyway, the Enlgish camp I’m working at has been featured in Chosun, Korea’s largest national newspaper. I was the teacher selected to be in the photo, which is actually much bigger than expected. It’s on the cover of insert #3, so people all over the country will be seeing my ugly mug by accident. But, really, is there any other way? If you can navigate the website, it’s the newspaper for the day of August 6, 2007.
