If you’ll recall there wasn’t a proper vote last time, but my thanks to those who did the poll. There is a vote this time, and I’ll give you a week with it.

Why a week? Simple, I’m taking break from Pit of Despair, about three weeks should do it. A new project has captured me, and I’m devoting myself to it for that time. Don’t be disgruntled , and feel like I left you hanging. There’s a sense of finality with the latest stage, and if you’d like, you can call Stages 1 – 8, Part1 of Pit of Despair.

Confidentially, attendance has fallen off in the past 2 stages, and the break will give everyone a chance to catch up.

Before restarting, I will send two packages of bonus material. They will be entirely unrelated to Pit of Despair, unless you count the author, and are merely to remind you that I exist.

I realized this week that nothing is more likely to deter your readership than putting “suicide note” in the subject line. Oh well, the author isn’t being paid for this, so he needs his fun.

The “pt1″ should suggest that this Stage isn’t like the others, and furthermore that there may be a “pt2″. Correct. Rather than write one long stage and challenge your attention span, I decided to split it into two normal-sized stages. This also means there won’t be a proper vote. However, I did include A Survey at the end of pt1, which you may complete or ignore, as you see fit. I won’t be posting the results, and the answers won’t effect Pit of Despair, in any way.

Since there’s no vote, there’s no deadline. Pt2 will come next Monday.
