Day 2
I am concurrently doing a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, which occupied my morning and early afternoon. It’s a laugh to study English grammar and how to describe it, while it is a system I often ignore for the sake of creative license. Perhaps, I’ll give diagrams of my own works for my future prospective students…mmm, maybe not, you have to learn to crawl before you can sprint into a wall. The day’s lessons went well, and I haven’t forgotten my elementary education. I passed and I’m allowed to move on.
I suppose it’s quite normal for someone writing a book to be reading something, as well, but I’ve just been keeping up on world events. The letter from the Iranian president to Bush was a fun read. Ahmedinejad is clearly the smarter of the two, but I still can’t decide who’s crazier. The white house screams “diplomacyâ€, but couldn’t define it if asked. I imagine they’d say that diplomacy is us telling them what to do and they do it. If they don’t we resort to the military option. It’s all off topic anyway.
Well, I did some writing today and edited the early work. I didn’t want the real world, extra-Bolivian references I’d used earlier. While Rurrenabaque was to be vaguely based in truth, the more progress I make the more I…well let’s wait and see how it turns out.
